Airbnb’s 10+ step booking process was leading to a 70% drop-off rate. We replaced it with a seamless, single-step checkout, increasing bookings by 12%.
I led design + a team of five for the Trust pillar, and drove collaboration across 12 orgs— shaping Airbnb’s new design language, presenting prototypes to Chesky, and working hands-on with engineering to bring the new experience to life.
